
The APSA Committee on the Status of Asian Pacific Americans Scholarship encourages and supports conference travel and research of political science students and scholars who study and research Asian/Asian American politics. Priority will be given to applications from students and contingent faculty. Grants will not exceed $500. All are welcome to apply!

Eligible travel grant expenses:
- Travel grants will be awarded to support the cost of travel to the APSA Annual Meeting, or at a different scholarly conference.
- Expenses include mileage for attendees who travel by car or plane tickets for attendees who will travel by air. Travel grants can also include hotel costs, meals, on-site and conference related Wi-Fi, and cab/ridesharing costs.
Eligible research expenses:
- Research grants will be awarded to support eligible research topics.
- Expenses include: access to data or archival records, paying undergraduate or graduate student research assistants, purchasing statistical software to facilitate research; costs associated with manuscript preparation, travel for fieldwork or research site visits, and professional development activities (such skills or methods training acquisition).
