This February, APSA is pleased to announce the release of Political Science Today, a new member magazine available in print and online. Political Science Today features association updates, member spotlights, in memoriams, public scholarship, and other items previously published in the back of PS: Political Science & Politics. The new publication allows PS to turn its full focus to peer-reviewed research while maintaining a “journal of record” for the profession.
The inaugural issue of Political Science Today highlights some of the exciting opportunities that an association magazine presents. Contributors discuss timely topics including podcasting in the political science classroom, the 25th Amendment in popular culture, and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. The issue also includes reflections on the 2020 annual meeting, profiles of APSA award recipients, and information about new diversity & inclusion grants for early career scholars and Indigenous politics research. Political Science Today provides a print platform for many of APSA’s online programs—including the Public Scholarship Program, the Career Paths Series, APSA Educate, and RAISE the Vote.
Political Science Today publishes quarterly in February, May, August, and November. All members will receive the February issue in print. To opt-in to future issues, update your journal delivery preferences on the APSA website. Members who do not opt-in will stop receiving print copies.
