Ángel Torres is a master’s student in international relations at the University of Chicago. His research examines the presence and diversification of criminal activities and illicit markets with emphasis on the provision of services by organized criminal groups in Mexico. With the support of the Fund for Latino Scholarship, Ángel attended the 2022 APSA Annual Meeting to present his research and attend panels in his research fields.
