Terrol Perkins, Xavier University of Louisiana
Terrol Perkins is a rising senior at Xavier University of Louisiana and is majoring in political science with a minor in psychology. Terrol has been a three-time Dean’s list recipient and is a member of Xavier’s Pre-Law Club. In addition, Terrol currently serves as Xavier University’s SGA Junior Class President where he acts as the face of the Junior Class, oversees all class initiatives / operations and prepares a semester budget. Terrol is also the Vice President of the Xavier University’s Chapter of the Collegiate 100 where he assists in organizing and planning student led community service events. Finally, he is an active member of Campus Ministry where he participates in tackling campus food insecurities through volunteering at Vincent’s Vault, Xavier’s food pantry. He hopes to uplift the voices of inner-city African American youth by providing a focus on their self-esteem, educational programs, and their correlation to politics and the environment.
