Help APSA Support Political Science Students and Scholars in Need

Make a Contribution to the APSA

Members and supporters of the American Political Science Association come together each year to celebrate and encourage charitable giving to the profession. Your donation to APSA will help us create opportunities for more political scientists to engage in professional development, teaching and learning, and research.

The Member Relief Fund provides grants to APSA members with pressing financial needs, including coronavirus-related needs, with unrestricted grant funding to help relieve the economic burden they are feeling. All donations will be matched by the APSA past presidents’ fund.

The Ralph J. Bunche Fund ensures the continuity of the Ralph Bunche Summer Institute (RBSI) which introduces undergraduate students from traditionally underrepresented groups to the world of doctoral study in political science.

The Lee Ann Fujii Diversity Fellowship Grant provides financial support for
current APSA Diversity Fellows and program alumni traveling to attend the APSA Annual Meeting.

The APSA member community has raised funds to support career and educational resources for political science professionals and students. Please join us to continue the tradition and increase our charitable impact.

There’s still time to contribute to the APSA Bunche Fund Capital Campaign!

If you haven’t had a chance to contribute to the Bunche Fund capital campaign Generation to Generation, there’s still time. While the Bunche Fund capital campaign goal of $2.5 million was met earlier this year (thanks to generous support from RBSI alumni, APSA members, and the association among other sources), the capital fund component of the Fund will remain open for contributions until the end of the year. Support the RBSI program by making a contribution today and be a part of the Bunche Generation to Generation history!

The Bunche Fund, established in 2013, will support the expansion of the reach and impact of the APSA Bunche programming—including the Ralph Bunche Summer Institute (RBSI)—aimed at recruiting and retaining individuals from historically underrepresented groups into the profession.
