Defaulting to Inclusion: Producing Sample Datasets for the Global Data Science Classroom

Introductory courses in statistics and quantitative methods routinely use sample datasets to explain concepts and statistical commands. Many of these sample datasets, however, use parochial U.S. measurements (like “miles per gallon”) that do not address the needs of international classrooms where metric units are more familiar.
