Centennial Center Teaching & Learning Symposia Application Deadline Extended to September 17

APSA’s Centennial Center for Political Science and Public Affairs is hosting a teaching & learning symposium focused on political theory, where participants will gain new insights into teaching and research in their subfield, produce teaching resources for use in their own courses, and network with colleagues equally dedicated to teaching political theory. This four-day event, taking place November 1-4, 2018 at APSA’s headquarters in Washington, DC and led by Amber Knight (University of North Carolina, Charlotte) and Lee Trepanier (Saginaw State University), will bring together 15 teacher-scholars (including advanced graduate students) to present on specific teaching techniques, as well as substantive issues facing the field of political theory today. Drawing on these presentations, participants will develop new teaching resources focused on specific topics related to political theory. Travel grants are available.
