The American Political Science Association (APSA) is launching this season of giving with #GiveAPSA, the year-end fundraising effort to support the many APSA initiatives that advance the research, teaching, and professional development of our members.
These initiatives include international programming, diversity and inclusion in the discipline, scholarships, travel and research grants, fellowships, and recognition awards.
Indeed, just a few weeks ago, gifts to the APSA Annual Fund supported First Generation Scholars’ participation in the 2018 APSA Annual Meeting in Boston. Meet Christine Marie Slaughter and Keith A. Preble, two of the 11 scholars who benefited this year.
APSA is also proud to participate in Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving and generosity, on November 27. Gifts to support ASPA can be made anytime at apsanet.org/Donate-Now.
Especially in this holiday season, small gestures can create a big impact for the discipline. Thus, members and friends of APSA are encouraged participate in #GiveAPSA through December 31. For a further information on APSA programs and plans, please consult the latest Annual Report.
