Join the APSA Committee on the Status of Graduate Students in the Profession for another virtual workshop aimed at funding your research! This workshop will focus on providing graduate students with the skills and knowledge necessary to apply for APSA grants, including Centennial Center research grants and APSA’s various diversity, equity, and inclusion grants. This webinar provides the knowledge necessary for applying for these grants, as well as advice on how to write a competitive application.

About APSA Grants

Spring Centennial Center Research Grants (CCRG)
Supports research in all fields of political science conducted by political scientists in non-tenure track or contingent positions who are ineligible for departmental funding; political science faculty of all ranks who are employed in departments that do not grant PhDs; and graduate students. Grant Amount: Up to $2,500. Learn more

Summer Centennial Center Research Grants (CCRG)
Summer Centennial Center Research Grants are open to all APSA members. Grants are supported by a set of endowed funds, ten of which are managed by the Centennial Center for the purpose of supporting specific areas of research ranging. The summer application deadline also offers a limited number of grants for mini-conferences, workshops, and other collaborative projects. Fund for Latino Scholarship
The primary purpose of the Fund for Latino Scholarship is to encourage and support the recruitment, retention and promotion of political science students and scholars who study and research Latina/o politics (especially students and tenure track junior faculty). Learn more

APSA Diversity and Inclusion Advancing Research Grants
The APSA Diversity and Inclusion Advancing Research Grants provide support for research that examines political science phenomenon affecting underserved communities and underrepresented groups. The new grants will complement APSA’s existing diversity and inclusion fellowships and grants—namely the APSA Diversity Fellowship Program, the Lee Ann Fuji APSA Diversity Fellowship Travel Grant, and the Fund For Latino Scholarship—providing additional research funding opportunities for scholars at multiple points in their professional careers.
