The purpose of this course is to provide current and potential department leaders with information on how to recruit, retain, and incentivize potential department leaders. During this course, participants will learn to better identify and cultivate potential leaders in their departments, develop administrative skills necessary for department leadership positions, and learn strategies to balance their research, teaching obligations, and administrative roles as a department leader.
