First-Generation Scholars Matching Funds Drive, Applications due October 5, 2020

Matching Gift Challenge

The APSA Committee on the Status of First Generation Scholars has offered to match up to $2,500 in donations to the APSA Annual Fund—from now through October 5th towards the professional development support of first-generation scholars in the profession. This includes donations made through the APSA website. Please make a gift today.

The APSA Annual Fund provides supplemental support to critical APSA programs. The Fund also enables APSA to create new initiatives. And by donating now, your generosity will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500. That means your gift today will go twice as far and do twice as much good as it would at any other time of the year.

Donate and Your Gift Will Be Matched

To make a contribution, be sure to log in to your APSA member profile and visit the APSA donation page. The APSA Annual Fund is the first fund on the list (it is labeled “Annual Fund – Unrestricted”). Enter the amount that you would like to contribute. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the green “Donate Now” button to submit your contribution. After you donate, post about your gift and encourage your friends to donate to APSA as well!

Your generosity, and that of many other APSA members and friends, enables us to make additional resources available to the political science community. You can assist in other ways, too. If you use social media, please like and share our posts on TwitterFacebook, and LinkedIn. By helping us reach new audiences, you spread the word about how we are able to help scholars and students benefit from valuable professional opportunities they might not have otherwise.
