The APSA Nominating Committee welcomes your suggestions for individuals to be considered for APSA Council positions in the 2026 elections. Submit your suggestions by February 13, 2026.
In accordance with APSA Bylaws, the Nominating Committee hopes to present a slate of accomplished scholars and practitioners who reflect the broad membership of APSA. To achieve this goal, they partly rely on the membership to forward suggestions and recommendations.

The 2026 ballot will include:
- President-Elect – serves a total of three years
- Vice Presidents (3 vacancies) – serve one-year terms
- Treasurer – serves a total of three years
- Council Members (8 vacancies) – serve three-year terms
When sharing your suggestions, please include details on why you believe the person’s accomplishments and background would make them a good choice for a council position, though you can also submit their names only if that is easiest.
