Join APSA’s Careers Diversity Committee for a virtual workshop discussing how political science faculty and graduate advisors can support doctoral students who intend to build careers out of the conventional academic settings.
Event Description
How can political science faculty and graduate advisors support doctoral students who intend to build careers outside of the conventional academic settings? Join the workshop’s host, Analía Gómez Vidal, for a one–hour virtual discussion on the challenges political science faculty and graduate advisors face when advising doctoral students for careers beyond the academy. This discussion session will encourage peer-to–peer collaboration, share best practices, identify common challenges, and point towards new resources APSA can facilitate to support faculty advisors.
