APSA Statement on Selection of Dr. Arthur Lupia as Head of NSF’s Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences Directorate

The American Political Science Association welcomes the appointment of Dr. Arthur Lupia as the assistant director of the National Science Foundation’s Directorate for the Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences (SBE). He is the Hal R. Varian Collegiate Professor of Political Science at the University of Michigan and the chair of the National Academies Roundtable on the Communication and Use of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
